A Stray Dog's Coat

A Stray Dog's Coat

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

fur of friendship

"

A Stray Dog's Coat

He walked in emptiness
A cape of darkness covered his eyes
Lost,
Alone,
Weathering a storm of ignorance
He at last found shelter in a stray dog's coat.

Thanks Jacob! And what a shelter, all furry and friendly.

Regards,
Al
