In the Sleepy Hollow of the Mind

In the Sleepy Hollow of the Mind

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

awake in adventure

"

In the Sleepy Hollow of the Mind

In my sleepy hollow of mind
I hear yawns telling me of a
trip of imagination
I follow the yawns into the
wide discoveries of creation
I joy in the delight of newly
creative adventures
as I pause without reason's
incessant interruption
I find the journey a home
in a sleepy hollow of the mind.

I'm certain Jacob it will soon fill with the beauty of poetic verse. I think one is coming! Look out another fine verse coming to a mind & soul near you.

Regards,
Al

those moments of sleep when we travel and discover, without interruption of worry...
how nice that trip might be these days---i think my mind is just hollow right now.
