Silence of the Fisherman

Silence of the Fisherman

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the big catch of the day

"

Silence of the Fisherman

He cast his words on silence's depth
The water plops its sound on ears of breath
The silence of the fisherman lives in song
What music creeps from the water's edge
Where stillness waits on the shore of trees
and the lake swallows the man in me.

I'll be visiting that lake today, weather permitting, with my new poonton boat. I'm hoping for a Whoopee Moment.

Thanks Steph!
