The Smile's Prayer

The Smile's Prayer

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

hello, it's me!

"

The Smile's Prayer

She came to me in the February of my soul,
Cold, yet waiting for spring's charms.
Like 10,000 men before me who knew this moment
I bowed to her smile.

Thanks Jacob!

Juxtapositions can overwhelm my thinking and February and soul seem to fit this category.

Al

another beautiful piece...love the brevity and the power of the "her" and "her smile" to which you still bow, even as she has physically left the earth...her spirit still smiles down upon all you are.

I'm in silence's lap rocking to and fro in the music's air.

Thank you Poppy!

Al

Such a delicate tone here Alfred...a heart that sees and accepts...a wonderfully soft emotion flows here...
