Jesus Christ Superstar

Jesus Christ Superstar

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz

Jesus Christ Superstar

It was a rock and roll boogie in Christ's name
He danced the heavens like no one from the grave
When he settled into a slow waltz rhyme
He forgave our sins as he left drama behind
God joined in this two step breeze
Jesus convinced Him that the boogie was for thee
So He moved and wiggled like a sixties kid
recalling his early days of brimstone and fire
and found love and peace like the Woodstock crowd.

Thanks Pryde,

Suppose the Catholic Church would take this approach?

Jesus Christ ... the world's first known hippie. Lost on a lot of his disciples. Great work, here:):):)

Hi Jacob!

I use to care for a 6 year old. She loved being held. I loved this kid so I would hold her and we would sing
Hey Baby ya wanna Boogie. Thanks guy!

yes, the holy spirit says Amen...and makes the next song request...

and we are singing..."Jesus Christ Superstar, do you think you're what they say you are?"

love the dance theme...because spiritualism should be a happy thing...a boogie toward heaven.
