Ocean's Door

Ocean's Door

There is nothing to write as the soul leaves the day
I wander around body that seems to fit my way
In a lynchpin of honesty I wait for another shore
Until then let the oceans swallow me as I knock at the door
Come in, cries the water, come into my door
I'll encircle you in depth like never before
and I in my silence swim deep into skin
and discover a soul waiting for my lips to ring.

Thanks Bacchus!

I agree! The flow sent me out to sea never to return. I'm still swimming! Whoa!

Regards,
Al

this is really well done...
i'm not a ocean fan- seems the tide can be too cliche-
but it's not here...
i really enjoyed the flow of this piece and the message

Thanks Moon!

I really like that idea about mermaids. Shall we go together and look for them?

It reads like a lullaby that mermaids may sing to their children.. 0.o
The ocean has a knack of calming our minds...I always feel that the ocean gives us what we ask of it...if we ask for  a moment of oblivion, it helps us forget our memories for sometime.....erasing them with its gentle sounds...however we wish to live some of our experiences again, it helps us reminisce the good times...it's very peculiar...the connection that we share with it...

I in my silence swim deep into skin ... love that ... a spiritual and a little bit eerie of lullaby. Great work:):):)

The shoreline has long been inspirational to me...the salty air, the sand, the waves nibbling at toes. Sometimes we wonder, "Is that all there is?"....and we wait. A trip to the sea seems to clear my head of the cobwebs....hope writing this did the same for you. Intensely emotional write. Lydi**

deeply introspective .. kind of reminds me of the point in falling asleep that the body seems to relax completely and sinks into the bed ...ahhhhhhhh another day ;)
