The Resurrection of Voice

The Resurrection of Voice

The human voice travels 590 feet.

Missing from the answer
Skirting issues that climb a leg so fine
Sounds never heard before
In the black whole of dark matter
comes a rarity you never thought before
as a haze of sunshine listens
as your voice echoes through the stars
to find the self amid a galaxy
to meet your voice at horizon's edge
a full circle encounter and a
resurrection of the voice.

I am assuming this is the poem you wanted me to read, Alfred?

It is an interesting companion piece to my poem, "Metanoia". Perhaps to be published together some day.

A great title, too. Another excellent twist on the idea of rediscovering one's self.

Another fine piece of writing.

Thanks Jacob!

Cleverly said.......maybe that good old crack of the bat? Listening without hearing is endemic!

and sometimes we don't listen at all, perhaps we are 600 feet away, perhaps we purposely get out of range...

i just think in today's society we are not listening...sort of like in sounds of silence...

"People hearing without listening"

home runs travle 590 feet sometimes...we pay attention to them, why not each other?
