Child

Child

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

in a night of tenderness

"

Child

Sometimes whatever is said
might return in the personal rerun
Take a tender night,
A blessed kiss from above
Her hand in mine
Breath casting itself over universes
She said nothing
as I enveloped myself into a child

Thanks Valentine!

I sure could of used more. Mom was unsure of herself, struggling with personhood and feeling a distance that a unloved husband can make.

Regards,
Al

Well said. Even at my age I still can remember at times, the love and tenderness from my parents when I was a child. Valentine
