Coldness in the Shadows

Coldness in the Shadows

Soon darkness will descend upon our eyes
The Earth will swallow dimension
Only the moon now can cast a flickering light
But the nights grow heavy in darkness
The moon an absent vision from our eyes
We might hear a cold wind howling
Saying, best you stay inside.

The depths of Winter are a cruel time for us all. The darkness enshrouds the earth in record time and the air we breath chills us to the bone.

And that cold wind is full of wisdom......it is best we stay inside. Else we will fall into the clutches of the shadows and be pulled from the Earth.

Another short and sharp descriptive piece, Alfred. Nicely done.

When it is totally dark...I have my lights on. Even a night light at bed time. Valentine
