A Small Ink of Talk

A Small Ink of Talk

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

past memories arise

"
A Small Ink of Talk
Come,
Come with me,
We will walk with our faces
and find a tear,
A tear on the edge of my soul.
LBJ, MLK, Vietnam, torn memories,
just a small ink of talk to find my self near.

Thank you Lydia!

Perhaps the tragedy has made me a better soul?

The memories....the smiling faces of our youth that never returned...the nightly news telling us how many were killed. Yes, those memories are with us forever. They etch a road of tears into our souls. It is said tears cleanse the soul, but how many must we shed? Powerful poem, Al. Lydi**

Thanks Jacob!

I was heading to yoga with the conversation of the past on the radio. I wanted to pour rain but I held back knowing I was to close to my destination.

i still shed tears for those lost souls...they will always be in our hearts...those torn memories cannot be glued back together...but the memories are strong, super glued to our minds.

Very personal and touching. Down the events of one's life in relation to historic events that impact. Wonderful is your pen...:)...............
