Forever

Forever

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

getting use to nothing

"

Forever

Somewhere out there you can find me

Sleeping in comfortable shadows

Breathing a sigh of relief in the shallow depth of soul

I'm out there following the intuition of everywhere

There is a small sense in me that I'm not likely to return

That wandering is my suit and tie

That dinner is a cloud in blessed calories

She beckons, I bow, what can be said of eternal love

Is that in the mute of silence I can live forever.

amen to you all!

Thanks Lydia!

I just wrote something dark about my father and his ghost that visited me. Eerie!

Thanks Jacob!

A feeling of misplacement, like driving my Jeep in the river expecting to go forward.

Thanks Emmajoy!

It happens like a clock turning round. If you knew everything you would be sad as blue.

Memories....so poignant. "In the mute of silence"...such a sad image comes to mind reading these words. The old you will not return....because things change. Our lives do not remain the same. We must embrace the good times. Bittersweet and well written. Lydi**

yes, a very sad tone to this, as emma commented...i find those memories seem they will be forever, and i just have to learn how to live with them.

There's such a sad tone to this. Seems you might have you lost yourself and now, stand back wondering if you've lost or won. Perhaps? But in saying that - and more, you use such fine phrases, ' 'That wandering is my suit and tie ~ that dinner is a cloud in blessed calories ~ She beckons.. ' Reading again, I think you might have lost to intuition but, won the lady!
