Wayfarer on Water

Wayfarer on Water

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

the swim

"
Wayfarer on Water
Wayfarer on water, oceanic configurations,
Self in darkness spread into protoplasmic hodgepodge,
bioluminescence in shadow.
Swim all the water,
All of it,
It's language you will hear.

Thanks Barleygirl!

I do love words. I'm drifting from images to letters.

Haha...I definitely giggled at "protoplasmic hodgepodge"...a lot of puns and wordplay in here! The imagery is beautiful! :)))

This is a great example of word play. I think true writers are in love with words & here your love shows. Great word choices to convey both a narrowed focus, as well as a broad connotation. The title is a nice swatch of alliteration that conjures up good imagery.

Thanks Jacob!

I've always loved the water. It sound, its form, its movement and stillness.
