A Beast's Worth of Advice

A Beast's Worth of Advice

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

monster growl

"

A Beast's Worth of Advice

Nay do I say among the beasts inside
The absence of that honor lies within the tide
Should I forfeit all that the monsters offer
displayed on a shelf where trophies linger
or become the self where soul endures
like a fox and hound chasing the wind
I do opt for the chance of wind!

Thanks An Owl on the Moon,

Let me catch the breeze again and plan a visit to your moon.

There are ripples that flow through your words, darker places that seem to hide in the lines. Loved the energy you create.

Flee the devil and his minions to the wind ....

You are a poet and an honorable man. To forfeit bribes, temptations and even under the table rewards for honor and moral principles takes a noble man and a disciplined soul. You rock...:)..................

i, too, would opt for the wind, my friend...
Monsters growl, but usually because they have some wisdom of what is about to happen.
