Old Alfred Road

Old Alfred Road

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

travel with me

"

Old Alfred Road

My road is often empty
maybe a stone or insect for fun
Perhaps you can glide on me
in your travels
Slip on ice in wintery days
Pull over, take the air
never knowing Old Alfred
will share a silence or two
as you compose your mileage
and wear.

Thanks Lydia!

On my return from Maine I saw this road sign.......the laugh continued further down the road.

Regards,
Al
