On This Day When Light Shines

Once upon a dream a boy came to be
Father, age 32, mother, age 23,
stupefaction grinned their faces
Mumbled nothings seemed all mumbled away

I can hear you baby boy
I can hear yourself
born in spring winds
On this day when light shines

Let me say in the silence of mind
I am your smile, your tickle, your lullaby,
In dreams of a life time I am with you forever
As the cows come home to your celebratory day!

Thanks Emmajoy!

You do create inspiration in me and I’m always tickled when you arrive. You are so alive I feel like I can touch you.

Regards,
Al

' Let me say in the silence of mind

There's a somehow magic in this, always feeling the spirit of Self by way of your dear parents; being their and your own forever shadow. Such fine language, Al

Thanks Sami!

Two of my most beloved friends here with me on my poem of birth. What more can a man ask?

Thanks Jacob!

I tried to remember what happened in my early days of life. I couldn’t draw up to many.

A very endearing and gorgeous write. The two most important days among others: Your birth, the day you became a poet...
