Miracle Near

Miracle Near

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

about sight

"

Miracle Near?

Vacant in a stare
Eyes perplexed in illusion
Pupils spoke to it’s Blackness,
Pinpoint staring, full bloom
expansion as light littered its surface
Yet so blind, the dance of angels missing
eyes intent, musical waves expanding,
contracting in a dark matter symbiosis
The edge of the universe imploring
universal eyes to witness its beginning
Yet, we sleep, eyes wide shut,
asking all of you is there a miracle somewhere near?
