little one

little one

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

3 feet tall

"

little one

stunned by the fuze balls in yonder yard
standing straight a mile to a yard
memory serves me a time when fuze balls
inhabit another land, little me,
boy of smiles a yard long
frowns that lasted a mile long
here i am enchanted by the sound of you
meandering around the times of the little one.

Dear Jacob,

The beauty you rendered brought more joy to my heart than you can imagine. I'm tickled; I hope you are too!

The cardinal joy it is of bringing a lighted memory to the fore.

You are certainly welcomed Palewriter!

There was a girl I knew when I was young that I often think about. This brought me right back to the area we used to play in. It was a grassy field with a hill we'd slide down. Another land resonates with me a lot. Thanks for sharing this.
