Teddy Bear Soul

Teddy Bear Soul

A Poem by Alfred Kukitz
"

don't you get it

Teddy Bear Soul

A Huge Teddy Bear in the room

Panda in nature

Smile & bow

Fools among us large & small

imagine the soul hugging Panda’s code

Here in Neverland

you can never be sure

Who hugs who

but friendly seems to be the

the name of the game

Thanks Margie!

My little evolution into childhood is a wish that it could have been much better.

Al

I’m not sure where you’re going with this message, but it reminds me of my younger days, when people were more touchy-feely, & hugs were passed around freely. I love the title of your poem & it’s the perfect phrase to describe the kind of person you probably are – a big ole teddy bear! It’s a great way to describe the kind of people who are just cuddly in their way of being, even if you’ve never seen such a person face-to-face, some people just deliver hugs with their overall attitude in life. That’s what your poem conjures up in me! (((HUGS))) Fondly Margie

Way off kiddo! No politics whatsoever. Simply the joy of childhood! Where's your Teddy Bear guy?

It's the boy in me. I have a panda, 5 feet tall, and its always about the wonder of being small again.

Seems like a sly reference to the growing influence of China in this modern world. That great big panda that smiles and hugs. Yet is that hug genuine or all for show? That is the big question.

That is how i interpreted this write, Alfred. I might be way off. Either way, this is a very clever piece. Certainly one to think on. Nicely conceived.

so gone is the elephant, replaced by a panda... hmmm neverland will never be the same again... but then was it really ever friendly??? you probably need that "code" to know the answers.... nicely written Al...

Hmm....you can never be sure who hugs you. Unfortunately, some will hug you only to stab you in the back. I think there is a lot going on in this one, Al. Sounds like a cocktail party where the talk is small and the people not what they may seem. LydI***
