One-Sided Love

Love not returned can burn.

One-sided Love

 

Broken words promised

Face-to-face falsities spewed

Lies and untruths a normality

Why can’t love destroy the pain that penetrates my heart?

 

Crying---I love you

In return I get a void and heartless response

In reality you seem detached

Why does your “I Love You” scar?

 

A partner-less relationship

Absences of affection

Lonely days---cold nights

Lack of caresses�"missing tantalizing kisses

One sided-love---a ruthless existence

 

I’m tired of being tired of being patient…

No more disguising my pain

It’s a heartbreaking decision I’m making.

It’s my last plea….  

I’m tired of I loving you, but you not me.

i really like this. it's true and honest and the word choice was really good. thanks for sharing
