A Mermaid's Wish

Piece #1 of my Disney-Inspired Collection.

In mysterious fathoms below,
Miles under the sea,
She longs to be part of a world
Which she may never be.
Bless her poor, unfortunate soul
With her fins nailed to the floor;
She’s left with a handful of sand,
Singing to a lonely shore.
