Lying in thought

Lying in thought

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Lying in thought.
Two corners held
the blanket of thoughts
billow on the flick
thrust outward falling,
laying straight on ground, placed.
Just lying back,
     a picnic,
       gazing,
     thinking,
    reflecting
   clouds drift
 background blue.
Absorbing the quiet
    nature's rush,
     daydreaming,
         drifting
   with the passing
     of time, itself.
