All aboard for flight 109

All aboard for flight 109

A Poem by andrew mitchell

All aboard for Flight 109.
Old age
the final frontier,
the last step,
the last sleep
before freedom.
Passengers with tickets
A to G come forward to the checkout counter please.
Boarding will commence in ten minutes.
Flight 109 to St Peter Heaven's Gate.
You won't be needing any luggage Sir.
Oh! Sorry!
And where are you going Sir?
St Peter Heaven's Gate.
Good! You're on the right flight.
Enjoy your flight Sir.

so true...we cannot take it with us...so no fee for luggage...and hopefully we can loose that baggage and come to terms with ourselves, be at peace when we board that last flight.

Thank you for your words Jacob
Hopefully, I'll make the flight someday and not wind up on the flaming train to hell. :-)
