Soft as a petal.

Soft as a petal.

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

for my muse on a wet blustery cold day.

"
Soft as a petal.
How your love
opened like a flower.
Your pistil teasing
my every move
I followed your scent,
so sweet, your stigma;
sticky receptive
to my advances
you captured,
my seed.
You played with my stamen,
a toy devoured hungrily.
How I tickled your carpels.
How you released my anthers.
But buyer beware.
in a shift, your petals
changed
A venus fly trap
you became.
Forever carnivorous,
a virgin no-more,
snapping
like a dragon on fire
I was now.....
your humble fly.
A servant to the testament
of our beings.
Soft as a petal
insatiable in love.
