Life's Pop-ups!

Last year I was different,

in fact, everything was different.

Looking back I realise a year

can do a lot to a person,

no matter how short a year seems.

Life appears to be

all about defining moments/ game changers.

They're out there you know,

waiting, hiding around

months to come or days,

weeks to surface.

You can never be ready,

for defining moments,

they will be.

Like an animal on the freeway

that Pops up from nowhere,

you're driving; you swerve,

you avoid, maybe crash;

a game changing moment!

Yep!

In a shooting gallery

of make believe,

Pop-ups are the targets,

but in life...

Pop-ups target You!
