My Stock! No Exchange!

My Stock! No Exchange!

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

just looking at the world with a degree of sarcasm, wit.

"
My Stock! No Exchange!
She was a non paying guest,
that I remember,
in the foyer;
seeing the ring
on her finger.
But she was mine!
I bought her!
I, the payer,
she the payee.
Good Lord! Why!
How did this happen?
She's now rent free!
And there it was
the certificate of proof
    " marriage."
and the small print
" pay in the amount of..."
         for life!
Twas pandemonium at my Stock Exchange.
Funny!
The brochure read  " have some voodoo magic fun in Haiti."
All I recall is.....
looking down two barrels
of a shotgun.
