Merlin! Are you there?

Merlin! Are you there?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Merlin! Are you there?
I was no more myth
than I was legend,
if you did not believe,
I was far from removed.
I disappeared.

I am fascinated with 'The Matter of Britain' and especially Merlin. So I was entranced with this. I find a contemporary meaning here also.

A short one but with a very mythical tone.

I have always been rather engrossed by the Legend of King Arthur and Camelot, and of course the wizard Merlin. Were they men or myth? I guess we will never really know with perfect accuracy. They are certainly heroic in legend.

A nice write, Andrew. Always thinking and making the reader think with you. Merry Christmas and best wishes for the festive season.
