No offence to God I just dislike his preachers and their hypocrisy!, their protection, and their accrued wealth on those misfortunates believing.

Is not the Catholic Church

just a body to collect

from the followers,

rich or poor

with the only

offering of 

a simple blessing.

When the gateway to heaven

becomes too expensive, exploited.

How did the church

accumulate such wealth and why?

It certainly was not a gift from God!

I am not Catholic and prefer not writing about any certain church. I just know 10% of all that I make belongs to Him. We support missions, missionary's in other countries, food for the hungry, gasoline for the church bus and the pastors travels to visit the ill in hospitals etc. If they get rich, aren't they still doing good? this subject matter I have never tackled in my writing. I notice the title and it intrigued me and that is how I choose most poems that I read. The lines "When the gateway to heaven
becomes too expensive, exploited" I thought you would continue this thought through... instead of asking a question in the next lines... Maybe go back and look at this and consider adding more thought to the lines mentioned because the lines like the title are so interesting to contemplate Regards Jeff
