My cactus is blue. It was knitted and therefore is not at all pointed.

No the needles are on the inside.
Ok you got me with this one Andrew. Perhaps I ought to ask a pointed question? What is the point in the desert of rational thought other than to stimulate the growth of the green shoots of thought. And you certainly did that!
