Nautical Bliss.

Nautical Bliss.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the dark recesses
of my nautical bliss
breaking on her shores,
each wave a caress
to summon her,
on the tides of love;
she swims out
on my ocean blues,
and drowns
in the emotional abyss.

Misunderstandings and miscommunications despite yearnings by both to make it work seem to doom the efforts from the start.
When we choose to navigate an other's sea it's never going to be plain sailing.
Good metaphor A.M.
