A rubik's mind of writing.A Poem by andrew mitchell
Beware the puppeteer poet
who strings words in many a verse to leave you dangling in the quagmire of meaning. Or the vagrant poet lost in translation, lost for words to have you wandering, searching for answers on the road to nowhere seeking shelter behind a verse. And finally the detective poet looking for clues to find that word, that word, that word that holds the secret, the final piece of the stanzas jigsaw. Yes! In the rubik's mind for writing, there are many facets, but which way to turn, for there's no poet's road map to the vault of ideas. © 2017 andrew mitchell |
