Born free, my father was a doctor!

Born free, my father was a doctor!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What ever happened
to born free?
It now costs
an arm and a leg,
not forgetting
the break up!

It's not what you know anymore, it's who you know - or perhaps it always was...?
Love the title - so Spike Milliganesque !!!

This erudite poem made me think.Seeking freedom from captivity can be costly. But in your soul you can be free.

when relationships end, often someone pays dearly, freedom has always had its price.......and there are many different kinds of wars.
