Beached on the sand's cosmos of loneliness.

Beached on the sand's cosmos of loneliness.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

No loving tides
brushing my shores
the sun caresses
the loneliness absorbed
heat rays evades
dark solitude shades

mind's cliffs falling
crumbling thoughts
through meandering waters
emotions retract
a love gone begging....

On a wet horizon
waves
              a smiling goodbye

darkness sets
around swollen pools
vision blurred
drowning reality,

a heart lies buried
in the cosmos of sands
rolling with the cries
of indifference.

Simple lines with great value and meaning. The poem remind me of someone finding home and what he knew. It is all gone. Powerful use of words and thoughts my friend. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry.
