Your signature lies in the lake.

Your signature lies in the lake.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Written on the lake
from waves of ink
rose the hand
that held you under.

Drowning....

Your pages wept
turning no more
held to ransom
wrapped in chains
in the library
of Davy’s locker.

nice use of the ol' metaphor sir ...it's that hand that really grabs me (hee hee) seriously .. the weight of it and the oppression of your speakers last coming up for breath is .... breathless (please forgive me) i don't mean to make light ..this is so serious for you ...i like it a lot... can be so many things but for me..written by a poet for poets and Davy Jones slam dunks the drowning ..nice one sir!

Thank you Einstein for such a generous review on my page.:)
and so many words do lie at the bottom of the sea of our mind...might we dive for them someday..or might they surface one day on their own...
could be a treasure.
