I was scratched during the cat struts.

I was scratched during the cat struts.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Who struck a chord
that lost its key
in a note suspended
on a melody crying
as the stylus broke
on a dusty groove
that jumped at a scratch?

Now this is new to me. A question in a descending detail then a conclusion or the answer. It keeps the reader wanting more till the end. Very smart and clever, sir Andrew!
