Love is blind.

Love is blind.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Love is blind
for love cannot see the future
or guarantee tomorrow
but leaves you
with sticky fingers
in remembrance that
all was sweet as honey
in yesterday’s bloom
of wine and roses.

What now my love
is only today’s testament,
here for this moment
but maybe lost in tomorrow,
as Time removes all blindfolds.

I did like this poem. If we knew the ending. Would we attempt love? I believe we would. Your words honest and real. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry.
