A Poem by andrew mitchell

fictional scribbles.

You
entangled
in my memories
brought me home;
of years cold and worn
travelling the vast
wilderness of love quests lost
in a cloud I created
between ice and snow,
who says lightning
doesn't strike the same ground twice.
As emotions gathered
from the last farewell
pouring onto love plains dry,
the house of love was burning
once more....
all the while
you were playing again;
getting entangled
in my thoughts.
