big difference these days .... as a kid my parents put a dollar a week into our school savings envelope to be deposited by the Church ..fortunately they fulfilled their fiduciary duties and did deposit it ..i loved watching it grow and have substantial interest accumulate .. on just a couple bucks ... i think center stage is "that shiny thing over there in the corner" ...
