The deposit box and a ransacked mind.

The deposit box and a ransacked mind.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I was always the one
collecting your thoughts
that you deposited
in my carousel of mind.

Where they rummaged about
and had a party leaving a mess
until you left....

common sense and rationality
were always late on the scene
but regret and sorrow
were there to help clean up.

Sadly, I never did hear from karma
as you went about your merry ways.
