They were both put on notice!

They were both put on notice!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As the feud
between ink and paper
raged on,
it was the battle of thoughts
that produced the blotch on paper,
for ink and paper were just pawns
that settled ideas in the scores
while thoughts watched on.

Such a fine use of words, somewhat satirical yet meaning more than most people would or could envisage, Andrew.

'it was the battle of thoughts
that produced the blotch on paper,
for ink and paper were just pawns
that settled ideas in the scores
while thoughts watched on.'

if I had created those lines, would be smiling at my own brilliance - humbly, of course!
