Sleep.

Sleep.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The sky is nigh
dreams float high

from a sea of waves
I see

an old place
cut off from the world

where serenity lies
between black and white

and stars blink
a mind's surrender.

This is the place I want to be right now. I got no sleep last night. Sounds like a wonderful dream.

Has the sound of a mystical experience. The sea of waves could symbolize the turbulent human mind, the old place cut off from the world, the higher mind. There indeed does serenity lie, accessible only through surrender. We all should have such a "sleep." Well done.
