A Poem by andrew mitchell

The turn of a new leaf
still had autumn tones
gold and brown falling
like a leopard
that never loses
his spots.

dear Andrew... now that August has arrived... her older sister Autumn
will not be seen for a couple of months... however, I can easily imagine
a leopard preparing her wardrobe to seduce the faint of heart... when
winds blow leaves into colors of discontent... none the less... truly turning a new leaf
this year. as ever, Pat

Thank you Pat for your words.
Clever and visual with it. Nicely penned Andrew. And so right, a leopard never changes its spots.
