If I was a dot!

If I was a dot!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If I was a dot
I could finish you
in a sentence.

I could rule the world
and I could end it -
so much power in a dot.

I could dot your I's
but leave me out
of the equation
and I am no more.

But play with me
and I will
surely end it
for I am dot
and I give you
sentence, no more.

I have my boundaries
my comma friend.
So don't mess with me
I give you space
within my confines.

Just look at the universe
my bigger picture,
where space is
just a dot
we live in
and dots rule.
