A Moonlit Knight.

A Moonlit Knight.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The moonlit tear sheds
on the comet of sorrow passing
showering a smile
that waits
on the sun rising.

This feels very artful, full of well-crafted imagery! I love using a comet here, which feels like the central theme for a shower of heavenly imagery! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Andrew, this poem describes so well how we often feel the heaviness of darkness, yearning for sunrise to warm us and dry our tears. There's something magical about the sun, especially when we spend a sad night alone. A good write, sir.
