Trapped in the elusive full circle of ....A Poem by andrew mitchell
When I was young I was told
there is so such thing as " I can't. " In fact, the word " can't" does not exist, so my parents told me. So after several attempts of trying "I can" the word " can't " presented itself in the form of " I can't!" once more. Now, that I'm older I'm virtually told the words " I can " no longer exists. So when I say. " I can!" I'm told you can't! " You can't do that!" " Yes I can!" " No, you can't" The three ultimatums are given hence-forth: You couldn't. You cannot. You can't. A far cry from when I was young! I've come full circle.
