The trek of no return.

The trek of no return.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In my dreams
I followed footsteps
across your heart
that led to the great divide -
a river of tears.
I saw my heart beating frantically
on the other side in the distance,
then I remembered -
the shoe size wasn't mine.
