The inside of a tear.

The inside of a tear.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Trapped within the tear
sorrow released
from the grasp of sadness.
Tether a tear
and see it run
as dry eyes
see the clear.
Brush not the tear
in one full sweep
for that maybe joy.

not always sure what is inside mine...sometimes joy and sadness in battle with each other.
not sure which side wins...
but eventually they slide down my cheek together.
