Within the menagerie of thoughts and sorts!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Long live the pen
that feeds the page
that grazes on words
fenced in by sentences
until they jump
to freedom on a breeze
from a whisper
" Let go!"

My theme this morning is breaking my imagination free from from its usual bonds . . . the thing I most admire about many writers here at the cafe. You've made this sound like something we all need to do! Love how your enthusiastic tone starts high & gets even higher (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Thank you for your lovely words Margie.
I wonder if the muse ever jumped over the moon...well, maybe in the poet's dreams.
