The marksmanship of a pen.

The marksmanship of a pen.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Was there time
in a place or
a place in time?
What happens when
you take the
guess out of
guess work?
You get the
answer. Of course!
When the message
rang true
was it by telephone
or someone
at the front door?
What of ...
what ever will be,
is ...
just what it is?
And what if
the writer is
stringing the reader
all along this time?
Sorry, it’s the power
of the pen.

I enjoyed the whimsy of this poem. You locked me into the words and I fell for it. Thank you for this satirical journey. This was very creative.
