About that health kick

About that health kick

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Now Albert Smith
was born around 1925
surviving World War 2
after been shot at in 1945
decided to quit smoking.
During 1975 he decided
alcohol was not for him,
and gallantly stopped.
By 1985 he stopped
all forms of processed meat,
reciting never again.
Later, in 1989 red meat
was off the menu.
In 1990 he died anyway.

The funeral was a large affair,
the church filled with
with boozers, smokers,
druggies, drunks, red meat
obesity types, and strippers
all of which were his dear friends.
The party is still going.
