A break in the line

A break in the line

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In sync with your verse
I felt the flow
your metre I followed
mere stepping stones.

But alas,
the life line thrown
had no swing
our connection threaded,
you would only
drop a line,
and then hang up.

Wow .. that is some very concise and powerful line writes. Love the power brevity that you have composed here, Andrew.
